We got some questions from customers these days, they want to know how to power their Blackmagic cine camera either 2.5k or 4k, so here introduce how to charge for BMCC detailedly.
We have a power supply cable for BMCC (http://www.lanparte.com/html/196.html), the DC connector is 5.5mm*2.5mm, the other head is D-tap connector which can connect to power supply system such as V mount battery or battery plate.
The power system is consist of the V mount battery (http://www.lanparte.com/html/108.html) and battery plate (http://www.lanparte.com/html/106.html), There are D-tap port on both of battery and battery plate. Since the BMCC camera accept wild range input voltage (12V to 30V), the output voltage of battery and battery plate is 16.8V, so it can be powered either from battery or the battery plate
Here is connection picture, you can see, the D-tap connector of cable connect to battery D-tap port, the DC jacket port connect to BMCC directly. If the inside battery of the BMCC is full, the outside power supply system supply power for the camera, otherwise the outside power supply system charge for the camera (just like the mobile power bank)
Attached some pictures. From the pictures you can find how these guys use our power solution to supply their bmcc 2.5K or 4K( the input voltage is the same).
Hope it helps!
